Professional Development

The course is designed for development of the foundational concepts of competency-based education. This course will examine the process for development of competencies, analysis of grading practices and personalizing learning for students. This 1-credit course cost is $79 when you register with UAA for credit and is reimburseable by the district upon completion. The course is approved to count towards salary advancement in KPBSD and Alaska teacher re-certification if it pertains to the immediate teaching assignment.
