Dr. Linda Bone, researcher, author, and practitioner, will visit Soldotna to provide professional development around the topics of brain research, methods to bridge social and synaptic gaps in schools for disadvantaged students, and family engagement strategies. This is a full day PD session based on Dr. Linda Bone’s book Bridging Social and Synaptic Gaps in Schools for teachers and administrators, and all participants will receive copies of Bridging Social and Synaptic Gaps in Schools and also a copy of Brain Tips.
A working lunch will be provided and mileage will be reimbursed off of the sign-in sheet.
